Crime Prevention
The Gambia Police Force is committed to preventing crime before it occurs through community engagement, public education, environmental design, and targeted enforcement strategies. Preventing crime protects lives, preserves property, and strengthens the social fabric of our nation.
Our Crime Prevention Strategy
The GPF’s crime prevention strategy is guided by three core pillars: community partnership, situational crime prevention, and intelligence-led policing. By addressing the root causes of crime and working hand-in-hand with citizens, we aim to create safer communities for every Gambian.
