The Gambia Police Force is committed to the highest standards of conduct and service. We take all complaints seriously and ensure they are investigated fairly, impartially, and promptly. Your feedback helps us improve.
How to Submit a Complaint
You may submit a complaint through any of the following channels:

What Happens After You Complain
- Your complaint is registered and assigned a unique reference number.
- You will receive acknowledgement within 5 working days.
- An investigating officer will be assigned to your case.
- You will be kept informed of progress at regular intervals.
- A formal response will be issued upon conclusion of the investigation.
- If dissatisfied with the outcome, you may appeal to the Inspector General of Police.

Your Rights
Every person has the right to make a complaint about police conduct without fear of victimisation or retaliation. The HRPSU operates independently and all complaints are treated in strict confidence. Making a false complaint, however, is a criminal offence.
